After work I went to Chicago with Mike Kawalchek (friend from work that grew up in Chicago). We stayed at Mike’ grandparents’ house. That night we had grandma’s homemade meat loaf and then we went to a bar and drank a lot of beer. When I was taking a dump at the bar, I heard a guy say someone is on the quanker (I think he was talking about me).

I ate a deep pan pizza at a restaurant that Mike liked near Northwestern University. Then we rode bikes from Northwestern University to downtown Chicago and back (26 miles). In Chicago I say a girl rubbing the penis of a statue and her friend was taking her picture. We locked our bikes and walked around downtown Chicago. We went up the Sears tower and to the Nike shop. At the Nike shop there was a Huffy racing bike hanging from the sealing (I did not know that Huffy made any good bikes). After our ride we went back to Mike’s grandmother’s house took showers and then went to eat at Bob Chinn’s crab house. I ended up sitting next to Bob Chinn. We drank Mia ties and beers.

The next day we ate lunch at Ed Dababic’s restaurant across from Planet Hollywood. This restaurant had excellent food. It was a funny place the waiters went around insulting the customers in order to provide a funny atmosphere. They ended out calling Mike cheap, because he ordered water with his meal. After that we went to the Natural history Museum. Then we drove back to Detroit. (Total car miles 720, since August 5th)
